Gimmie Shelter : An oldie but goodie. My playlist is running stale. Please recommend me some fun and catchy (not too catchy) songs! Nothing extreme and over the top please.

I had some surf music by Satan’s Pilgrims stuck in my head for a large part of last week, but instead of that, I’ll link the Shadows:
And Booker T & the MGs:

You could also try this one. It’s a bit of a strange combination since it’s Duane Allman and Aretha Franklin doing a cover of a song by The Band.

yeah there have been a lot of good metal covers the last year. All That Remains did an excelent cover of The Thunder Rolls, and Bad Wolves just put out a brilliant cover of the cranberries “zombie”. then obviously disturbs cover of the sound of silence goes without saying but its not really a driving song lol

As I’m on mobile, no link, but The Diamond Church Street Choir by The Gaslight Anthem is one of my favourite cruising songs.

To start off, and stick with the Stones, here’s one of my favorites of theirs. Hardly ever (never?) gets radio play due to the long outro, but dear god, the dirty guitar riff alone carries the song:
And as a followup, here’s Ted Leo and the Pharmacists’ “Shake the Sheets” album. I love pretty much everything they’ve done, but this album is one of their best complete works, IMHO:
